• You'll See - Episode (2010)

  In 2009, while archiving piles of old tapes, I came across the multi-track masters of the Under the Big Tree recording sessions. Within them, I found an off-the-cuff recording of You'll See, an Episode song from the mid-nineties. The band was playing together, and though it needed vocals and additional keyboards, it sounded great. I took it upon myself to fill in the missing keys, then asked Roe Tyler to come over and sing the vocals with me. It was shocking - after not singing together for well over a decade, our voices blended and harmonized as if no time had passed at all.
  
  I mixed this song while getting the kinks out of my new studio in Sausalito, California. It was mixed through an analog console with analog outboard gear, the old school way.
  
  Whether this is a lovely postscript to our time together, or the beginning of a new phase in Episode's journey, I can't say. But for those of you who were there with us all those years ago, enjoy the music!
